About this journal
Neuroscience Perspectives
Frequency: 1 volume per year
Neuroscience Perspectives is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal based in Almaty, Kazakhstan. As one of the first specialized neuroscience journals in Central Asia, the journal aims to strengthen regional neurotechnology infrastructure and connect Central Asian research communities with the global scientific landscape.
The journal publishes high-quality empirical, theoretical, and review articles that advance understanding of the neurobiological foundations of behavior, cognition, and mental processes. Interdisciplinary contributions are welcomed across the following areas:
- Molecular and Cellular Neuroscience: glial biology, synaptic plasticity, cellular signaling, and mechanisms of neurodegeneration.
- Systems, Network, and Cognitive Neuroscience: neural circuitry, functional connectivity, brain-behavior relationships, memory, and executive functions.
- Computational Neuroscience and Brain-Computer Interfaces: mathematical modeling of neural systems, artificial intelligence applications, big data, and brain-computer interfaces.
- Clinical and Translational Neuroscience: neurological disorders, brain function modulation, and neuroimaging methods including EEG, fMRI, and fNIRS.
Mission and Editorial Philosophy
